H226 is the GHS (Globally Harmonized System) hazard statement “Flammable liquid and vapour.” It belongs to the Flammable liquid hazard class and appears in Section 2 of a Safety Data Sheet and on the product label when a substance or mixture meets the classification criteria for that class and category.
