H270 is the GHS (Globally Harmonized System) hazard statement “May cause or intensify fire; oxidizer.” It belongs to the Oxidizing gas hazard class and appears in Section 2 of a Safety Data Sheet and on the product label when a substance or mixture meets the classification criteria for that class and category.
